The Old Quebec area is the heart of winter activities in Quebec City. Visit the Old City with a guided tour, dicovering the feel of the culture in the winter time. Learn to skate on the Youville rink, toboggan down the slides on Dufferin Terrassse, enjoy a hot chocolate as you overlook the St-Lawrence River and its ice formations along the shores. The Plains of Abraham and surrounding areas host many activities for Quebec’s Carnaval – come and join the fun!

In the outskirts of Quebec City, there’s lots to do too! Visit the Traditional Huron Wednat Village to learn about the culture and the sports in the winter time, slide down the tubing trails or visit the Ice Hotel all at Valcartier, go dogsledding or snowshoeing in one of the many parks!
